My newest remodel!
I'm super excited to have finished up in the dining room. It's one of my favourite rooms in my apartment so far. Not only because I love to entertain but the layout and the amount of natural sunlight I get is like a basket full of fluffy puppies or Oprah on any given day, it just makes me so so so happy!
The room itself, like every room in this place, was boring white. Lucky for me there were no major obstacles. All four walls were intact, with a few minor nail holes here and there, the lighting isn't too shabby either....Oh and did I mention there is a cray cray amount of natural sunlight?!
I painted the walls with a Behr paint by the name of "Manhattan Mist", it steals my heart away every time I walk into that room. I had a big wall at the head of my dining table that I wanted to use to feature something different, but I didn't want to keep repeating the frames that I already used over the bar and in the bathroom in the previous post. I opted for a burlap wall covering, it was low cost and adds a certain masculine feel to the room.
I can't waiiiit to start hooooost-iiiiinnnngggg! *Oprah Voice*
I want to take a minute to thank everyone for their kind words and encouragement on my last few posts. It can sometimes be intimidating to put your creative self out there but I am very excited to build this blog. I have some great interviews and collaborations coming in the next few weeks that I cannot wait to share with you all, so sit tight!
